CalBudget 3.0: your financial future, in motion
- Meet the redesigned calendar workspace: a calmer neutral canvas, a compact navigation rail, clearer financial color, and a full-month layout that makes more of every screen.
- Read more of the month at a glance with Net ahead, remaining Cash in and Cash out, days below the $250 cushion, and the next scheduled money move beside the core outlook metrics.
- Follow your projected balance with a new report-style outlook chart. Hover any calendar day to move the chart focus, inspect that day’s projected balance, and switch between month finish and month change.
- See each day more clearly with animated date focus, projected closing balances, positive and negative day totals, merchant logos, refined transaction color, and a day number that stays behind the activity.
- Open or close the Day Inspector with a smoother transition and follow an animated balance-flow chart from opening balance through income and outflow to the projected close.
- Add a one-time transaction directly inside a day with the new quick-entry row for title and amount. Only one quick entry stays open, and recurring schedules remain in the full transaction form.
- Open transaction details immediately without a page refresh or skeleton interruption, then edit or delete from the same focused flow.
- Move between months without the surrounding workspace jumping or flickering. Calendar navigation now keeps a single selected day, avoids stale automatic selections, and gives Today and the centered date control a consistent home.
- Use the rebuilt left navigation for calendar, search, reports, notifications, help, account controls, theme switching, and sign out. Help and profile menus are cleaner and Latest Updates remains easy to revisit.
- Choose light or dark mode from the navigation rail with a stable first paint, so the calendar no longer flashes the wrong green-tinted theme during refresh.
- View more transactions in each day as the available space changes, with improved responsive density instead of hiding activity behind an unnecessary “more” count.
- Reports now use a more purposeful chart palette so income, spending, balances, categories, and comparisons are easier to distinguish at a glance.
- Sign-in and session recovery are more resilient, with improved handling for returning users and fewer interruptions while opening the calendar.
- The public CalBudget experience has also been rebuilt with a cinematic, responsive story, clearer product explanations, and a design system shared more consistently across the platform.
- Additional refinements improve keyboard and context-menu behavior, animation preferences, hydration stability, monitoring configuration, accessibility, and responsive layout throughout CalBudget.
